In a thrilling qualifying session ahead of the legendary 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, Porsche factory driver Kévin Estre stormed to pole position, securing the best possible starting spot for his team. Piloting the Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R, Estre delivered a stunning lap on the demanding 25.4-kilometer Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, often referred to as "The Green Hell."

The session was fiercely competitive, with top teams from Porsche, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-AMG all vying for the coveted pole. But Estre's blistering pace and precise handling through the track's 170 corners ultimately put him on top, giving the Manthey team — known affectionately as "Grello" for their distinctive green and yellow livery — a psychological edge heading into the grueling day-long race.

The Nürburgring 24 Hours is one of the toughest endurance races in the world, combining fast GP sections with the narrow, twisting Nordschleife loop. Weather often plays a role, with rain, fog, or even hail adding extra challenge. Starting from pole doesn’t guarantee victory here, but it certainly helps to stay clear of traffic and early chaos.

Fans will be watching closely as Estre and the Manthey EMA team aim for victory in this year's edition of the endurance classic, which always delivers drama, heartbreak, and unforgettable moments.
