Team mate crash

The spotlight, however, fell on McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, who collided in a heated battle for fourth place. Attempting an overtake, Norris misjudged the gap and crashed into the rear of Piastri’s car. Piastri rebounded to finish fourth, but Norris was forced to retire and later accepted full responsibility, calling the move “stupid.” He was handed a five-second penalty.

Piastri maintains a healthy championship lead, now 22 points clear of Norris, with Verstappen trailing close behind and Russell moving into fourth .

In other drama, Lewis Hamilton hit a groundhog on track, suffering floor damage that dropped him to sixth place
